The second project litter is here!

The second outcross litter born in the project for increased genetic diversity!

We are happy to announce that the second project litter in the Field Spaniel Club’s project for increased genetic diversity has been born! Well, the second litter was actually born at another breeder earlier but unfortunately only consisted in one stillborn pup.
The litter born in August 2025 consists of three male and three female puppies and the colours are liver, black, liver & tan, black & tan, black & white ticked, and blue roan. Sire is the almost nine years old English Springer Spaniel Ludwig vom Belauer See SPZB0403/16 and dam is the two year old Field Spaniel Ceben Dalli SE22348/2023.

This is a significant step forward in the club's efforts to promote a broader genetic base within the breed and ensure the Field Spaniel’s future as a healthy and thriving breed.

The puppies in this litter also showed significantly more vitality at birth and were more mobile earlier than Field puppies in general.

We look forward to following the development of these little puppies and what they will contribute to the breed's future.
